Please let me introduce you to my latest painting called Tennyson.
This magpie was so good to paint. It taught me about not needing to do every tiny feather detail to achieve a feathered look. Tennyson is giving a very determind look against a very moody background.
Tennyson is named after Governor Tennyson he was the governor in South Australia in 1901 and declared the white-baked magpie the official emblem of South Australia, the stae where I was born.
This took me just on two weeks to complete.
