I was inspired to paint this Budgerigar as I use to have this exact colour once called Hank. I have painted Hank on my iPad Pro. Budgies are found wild all throughout the drier parts of Australia where they have survived for over 5 million years. Its success can be attributed to a nomadic lifestyle and its ability to breed while on the move. Budgies are social birds and won't do well in a life of isolation. Budgies are playful, love food and they can rival any parrot in terms of talking ability.
