Please let me introduce you to my latest painting called Gang Gang.
This is a male Gang Gang Cockatoo. The Gang Gang Cockatoom or Gang Gang for short, is a small, stocky cockatoo with a whispy crest, large broad wings and a short tail. They are found throughtout south-eastern Australia.
This paintin took me a bit longer to finish as I found it super challenging to paint. I changed the bokeh inspired background twice and it took many many layers of paint to give th e depth of the amazing reg head feathers. But I am super happy with the results as it is also my first time painting one of these gorgeous cockatoo's.
This took me just under three weeks to complete.

Gang Gang
Gang Gang is an acrylic painting on a double stretched pure cotton canvas. It has been varnished to bring out the depth of colour and to protect the artwork.
